hey all!  I am new to fishing the NoVA area and I'm hoping to get some help or suggestions on local lakes, ponds, reservoirs, rivers, etc. with good bank/shore fishing opportunities as I don't have a boat or access to one.  only a couple of the threads I found mentioned anything, so I figured starting a new topic/thread might be my best best.  I live in Manassas Park and would like to find places within 1-2 hours from me.  any help would be greatly appreciated!

    within one to two hours you have a ton of options.  I would go look at the VA DGIF website  and see what is in your area.  Most listings advise on shore fishing opportunities.
