How do you put up a post where it shows what someone else said in the gray box above what you write.  I feel very dumb for not being able to figure this out!

How do you put up a post where it shows what someone else said in the gray box above what you write.  I feel very dumb for not being able to figure this out!

If you're on a PC there should be buttons at the bottom of the other person's post that says "Quote". Just click on that and it should automatically put there comment into your comment box in. I think you might have to go to the full version on a phone to do it though.

That is what I am doing, but when I look at the topic, I do not see it in my reply.  I only see what I wrote.  Possibly just not visible to me when I am the one doing it.  BTW, I hit the quote button to reply to this.

It should pop up before you start typing.  Also on the mobile version, if you click on the post you are trying to quote, it should pop up a box to allow you to quote it.
