Suffix Hi-Vis Yellow Mono Opinion/visibility

Featured Replies

my eyes aren't what they used to be.... having trouble seeing the low-vis green Suffix I like so much

was wondering how their hi-vis yellow is? I'm pretty sure i'll be able to see it much better...

BUT... my main question is about below the water visibility for the fish? is it that much more visible under water too?

feedback please...

thanks..

I use fire orange and neon yellow mono for walleye in the early spring and fall when the water is the clearest it is/will be all year. Walleye's eye sight is far greater than that of a Bass. You'll be fine.

I've looked at the Sufix yellow, have used

orange in the past, today I use PowerPro

yellow.

I'd guess you'll be fine with the added

visibility (same reason I use yellow).

I like the Neon Tangerine.  Haven't tried the yellow yet.  I use the Tangerine in 8# and 12#   It is much easier to see than clear, green, etc.

I just use a fluorocarbon leader in clear water, and problem solved.
