Have no idea if the algae bloom is starting to affect the whole lake but the water was dirty, nasty and stinky this weekend out of Uncle Joes cut. Fish were still being caught but wow was the water nasty!

I have a B.A.S.S. Nations team tournament out of Scott Driver on Sunday.

My boater teammate mentioned he wanted to run to Moonshine, if there's a bloom in Uncle Joes hopefully it stays confined there.

We ran the rim up towards harney pond and it seemed to be a little better up north. Didnt go all the way up though.

Planning on going to the lake this Sunday.  Not familiar with Uncle Joe's cut.  Was planning on launching out of Slim's.  Is this in the area of Uncle Joe's?

Slims is on the Southeast side of the lake and Uncle joes Cut is on the southwest side by Moorehaven past Clewiston..

Anyone on the lake this weekend? Maybe heading back next weekend.

I fish here everyday and if anyone wants to come here I have room on my boat... No charge...

Even though I have 2 boats to go outiin.. As a former Marine I know never go out without backup.....

I fished the south end sunday and did horrible but there was definitely fish being caught.  Buddy of mine caught twin 9lbers

I would love to fish the big O with someone.
