Epoxy for jig heads

Featured Replies

What is everybody using for a durable epoxy to apply to jig heads after the powder paint.  Just looking to see if it's worth applying a coat for more durability or if the powder paint is durable enough.  Thanks guys.

I don't apply anything to them.  I bake them in a toaster oven to make the paint harder.

If you cure the powder paint in a toaster oven, etc.  they you don't need to apply epoxy to them.

I coat my jig heads with devcon 2 ton, but I feel like it cracks and chips relatively easily. I have been using Dick Nites lately on my crankbaits and I really like it. I am going to try it on my jigs and spinnerbaits too next time I make some.
