Lews Or Shimano 7Ratio Reel

Featured Replies

Im looking at 2 reels in a 7 ratio. I'm wondering which is better the Lews Team Lite or Shimano Chronarch CI4+?

It's a tough decision I have both brands and like both brands. Maybe just looking for input or someone who's has 1st hand experience with each of them.

I understand I probably wouldnt go wrong with either.

Both excellent reels. Can't go wrong either way. I have the Team Lite and am more than happy with it. Smoothest, best casting reel I own. If by chance you need support, Lew's gets it done fast...but I've never had a lick of problems.

That's a tough question. I have both of those reels and use them regularly. I have been a shimano fan for years but recently started buying lew's. Can't go wrong with shimano, but I find myself using the lews more often. Lew's reels are super smooth and feel really well built. I would probably go with the lew's. At least your decision is between two really good reels.

Your right it is a tough decision to make.

You see any deference in cast distance or your drag with the two?
