I do keep a bar of ivory soap in my truck ,and in my misc bag that I take in boats.  Ivory soap floats .

I haven't thought about Ivory soap in many a year. When I was a kid, my dad took me trotlining. We set out the trotline and baited it with Ivory soap. We had to leave to check the cows and when we went back to check the line, it was gone, somebody stole the whole thing.

If you fish from a boat carry a small spray bottle of Simple Green to clean up carpets from attractant drops, gasoline or oil on your hands from working on something like a fuel line or your engine on the water. Carry a hand towel and wrap it around the spray bottle. I have several towels in my boat to dry my hands and wipe my rig down after each outing.

Yes I do use tooth paste to clean my hands while fishing, it's biodegradable, cleans good, easy o store along side the attractant. Slippery hands are a problem when holding fishing rods.

I had a guy offer to detail my truck for $40 and I took him up on it to try him out. He worked 3.5 hrs and did a fabulous job. About 5 yrs of bugs was on the front of the truck. He got 100% of it off and he used Simple Green. I was impressed. I wash my truck twice a year whether it needs it or not.
