Dremel battery...

Featured Replies

I bought a cordless Dremel a few weeks ago and it works great.  However, I've noticed that the battery drains down pretty quick.  Has anyone else with a cordless Dremel have this problem?  I like the cordless ability (no wire to get in the way! ;D) but I hate only being able to sand and shape 2-3 baits before it needs to be recharged.  Guessing I should've got one with a cord.

Buy an extra battery, I had to get two batteries for my cordless model because of this problem.

I originally had a corded one, and then went to cordless, and now back to a corded one. You just don't get the longevity out of a cordless, especially when it's turning at such high RPM's. Also if you are using it for long term grinding, the cordless in my opinion just doesn't cut it.

I think I'll go ahead and buy an extra battery.  On the other hand, I could buy a corded dremel for making lures, and take the cordless in the Marine and Small Engine classes I'm taking.

im just planning on getting a corded one to go with it

That's what I did.
