Wacky Rigging

Featured Replies

I searched the entire Senko sticky and couldn't find the answer to this.  I'm trying to maximize all my fishing time on the lake, and save as much time as I can.  If I plan on fishing a wacky rigged Senko a lot during the day, wacky rigged, Can I take a bag of Senko's and slide the o ring on each one before hand and put them back in the bag, without causing some damage or other negative effects to the o ring or worm?  Seems like this would work and save a good amount of time.  Thanks!

Yes.

Wacky rigging isn't a presentation that will maximize your time on the water, but doing what you mention will reduce the amount of time spent re-rigging

I currenty have the O rings on 3 different colors of stick baits (dont use Senko's) ready to go in my "stick bait" box.

They've been there for almost 6 months...they"re still soft and smell good.

Don't worry about it, you're good.

Anything you can do to save time while you're fishing is a good thing.  You can buy fishing gear.  You can't buy fishing time.
