I am hoping for a couple of Mattlure's Bluegills and maybe a LC sammy or two. But I'm wrapping me 4 or 5 new rods this winter, so I can't lose, no matter what Santa does.

I do the gift card thing, that way I can pick out the right stuff.  I also sent a link to my wife to buy me the stalker tackle bag from bass pro.  Tackle bag and you can use it like a back pack too.  I have gone through 2 tackle bags in 2 years, cheap ones from walmart.  So figured it was time to get a nice one.

Heck NO, I love rod building, but if I had to do it for a living it would certainly lose it's charm. Right now, I am selling all my conventional factory made rods and replacing them with spiral wrapped versions in roughly the same models and types.  I am ordering 4 blanks to finish my personal arsenal. Then I have 2 others that I have promised to do for a couple of friends and I have two of my own that are under construction. It sure feels like a job these days. Maybe when I retire one day, I can suplement my income. We'll see. LOL

I'm getting a new rainsuit to replace the old one that got ruined in my storage compartment and a gift card.  I have no idea yet what I'll spend the gc on.
