Recently bought a new ranger.. (new 2 me)& it had a elite 7 mounted on the front...I luv this unit until the sun comes out....the I can't c anything due 2 glare. Is this unit not ment 2 b a bow mount?...any help will b appreciated...thanx

Congrats on the new to you boat! It should be fine up there. Are you sure the brightness is turned all the way up?

Sometimes the angle of the screen, the tilt of your head and whether or not you are wearing sunglasses can really have an effect on how well you can see the screens on color units.

If you haven't add a ram mount and you can position it better than just using the gimbal mount
