The dreaded Zombie Fish :)

I caught a G Loomis GLX at a local lake one time. The reel was shot but rod was still good. As it turns out a few weeks later I was fishing next to a guy that was telling me the story how his daughter casted his almost new G Loomis in the lake. So I actually got to return it to it's rightful owner. I have a St. croix at the bottom of the same lake, hopefully I can catch it some day.

I'm glad this good Samaritan lives in my home state. It gives me a sliver of hope that if the same thing happened to me I just might get mine back as well... Well we can we all have such luck and everyone is as gracious.

I snagged a line ,so I started  handlining it in. After about 40 yds,I began feeling resistance and some tugging back. Another 30/40 yds revealed a sting ray weighting about 25 lbs. It was not welcome in the boat.

I snagged a  1/4" rope of about 200 feet with a huge Danforth anchor attached. I never figured out that combo, but I did use the anchor for years.

Also a coupla 202 `s and a pair of jeans.

I caught a white tail carcass with a nigging spoon once while fishing from shore. It must have fallen through the ice during the winter. I thought it was a log at first then when it got closer and I realized what it was I immediately cut my line.

Was wading in a river once, hooked onto a huge fight, battling in the rapids, thing pulled like a freight train left to right. Got it close enough and found out it was a 3XL wife beater.

I pulled a pontoon boat to shore the other day. The guys motor burned up almost 100' out and he had no paddle. I threw on a heavy jig, cast out to him, put the hook in a towel and I pulled him in! Best thing was I only was using 15lb braid.

i've caught 2 anchors/anchor lines before and recently snagged an small ultralite spinning setup from under someone's dock.  it was pretty rusted out, so no good.

I was fishing with a frog and a huge bull frog gulped it up had to grab him and unhook his tongue.

A wheelchair. Razor scooters, and an electric lawnmower. Fish some pretty nasty waters lol

I've caught rocks, mussels, and every once in a while I pull in a dead fish.
