Got my blank in today for my latest build. A 4pc 7wt fly rod. Rod geeks blank with a curly maple full wells handle. Still waiting on my mud hole order to arrive should be here Wednesday.

If you couldn't tell by the name this build is being built for chasing bass lol smallies specifically. I've been chasing them daily for a month now with my 9wt reddington and wanted something custom and a little smaller

Got the rest of my stuff in to finish the build but now I think I might got with agate stripper guides and recoil guides instead of all these bent mudhole ones.

All those different shades of blue should look sweet with a crosswrap or whatever design it is you are using.

I got some cobalt blue nylon prowrap for my eternity build.

Don't know how he does it. There is more money in parts than what he is charging for the finished reel seats.

Must buy in bulk for a good price or have a hook up.

Just ordered new guides thanks to Scott and my good buddy recommending snake brand guides.

Are the snake guides you have deformed? I'd return them or use them as is on a less important build before I just chucked them. 

Got the new guides in just waiting on some stripper guides I ordered from Scott to come in Friday and I can start this build.

Well double foot guides are a real bummer like Scott said on my FB post it's like two rods in one.

I got 7 of the 10 guides wrapped so far. The lighting sucks I'll try to get better pics tomorrow when I finish the last three and move onto the ferrule wraps then butt wrap.

Some better pics in the sunlight. Just gotta decide what I want to do as a wrap probably a simple chevron. Start that tomorrow maybe.

Haven't updated in a bit. It's almost done I've done the cross wrap 3 times now

This was one long build but here it is all finished just gotta put line on the reel.

I like tying the reel in to the build. Makes for a true custom look.
