Best Megabass Rod For Drop Shot

Featured Replies

Hi all,

So Aaron Martens is the drop shot king so would you go for the Destroyer Phase 3 6'10" Aaron Martens Limited with his name on it or try the Destroyer Kirisame 6'10" Prime Stinger ?

Anyone with any experience of either rod, let me know what you think and what you pair it up with ?

Regards

Matthew

He switched to enigma rods so they must be better....I'd look at one if those.

For that kind of money I would get a custom rod built to your liking

I can't believe an Engima rod is better than a Megabass based on the significant price difference. I think it's more about what he gets paid. Just looking at the specs, the Megabass look to be more sensitive. When it comes to looks then no contest, the Destroyer Kirisame 6'10" Prime Stinger looks awesome.

I believe there was a bit of sarcasm to EvanT123's post

You are probably right. The point was I wouldn't put to much stock into what a pro uses. They usually have other things going for them. Such as electronics, boat control, instinct, and lots of experience.
