Do any of you have experience with these? https://wlure.com/index.php?cPath=22_27&osCsid=60261a7dae2bf647b6d93d1732092277

They look to be of good quality for the price and have a lot of styles and colors.

I have an Amazon gift card to burn.

price looks good, maybe a little too good....

Any swimbait that says may require tuning I would stay away from.

give me some suggestions. Keep in mind I don't live in CA. :) And we don't have trout in bass waters.

The reality is they will eat 8in plus lure in every state. Bass eat pretty much anything that swims and fits in there mouth, even there own kind. I get it If you want to start with smaller baits, there are a bunch to choose from but they are not going to be $7.99. They start in the $15 range and go up. Here is a list of some good baits that should get you going in the right direction.

BBZ1 6in

BBZ1 4in

BBZ1 baby shad

Triple trout

MS Slammer

A/C plug

Bull shad

Black Dog shell cracker and shell cracker G2

Mattlures hardgill and soft

Rago Glide gill

Gancraft 148

S-waiver

Savage gear glide

Savage gear linethru

Hudd 68

Hudd weedless shad

Trashfish

Osprey

Rago BVD

There are also rat baits

No trout or monster bass in KS either but I catch plenty of bass on swimmers including big trout colored baits.

These are the same ones as the $6-8 swimbaits from overseas on eBay. as gobig stated, you're better off putting the money into a proven bait.

Thanks guys. I also don't have a rod for casting larger than 1 oz, maybe 1.5 oz lures. That's why I'm kind of looking in the 4-6" minnow shape range.

I think all swimbaits especially the proven ones even need tuned a bit.  Hardgills, slammers, most of the swimbaits I throw do need tuned.

that being said if you need low weight hard swimbaits that don't cost a fortune stick with spro, mini slammer, and savage gear.

I have less experience with savage gear but so far their products are pretty legit and a savage gear glide swimmer would only run you double than the baits you are looking at.
