Picasso Shock Blade Experience

Featured Replies

I recently picked up one of the new Picasso Shock Blade bladed swim jigs (chatterbaits) in the 3/4oz versions. After using it yesterday, it seems to work fairly well for the most part. However, I did notice that the lure would like to "turn over" during the retrieve and I would have to give it a twitch to get the lure to straighten up and start working (chattering) again. I tried two different trailers and neither fixed this problem. This is the first bladed swim jig I have used that wasn't made by Zman, or in other words, one that doesn't have the blade attached directly to the head. Has anyone else experienced this problem before?

Sounds like maybe the split ring, or whatever attaches the blade to the head, is binding and causing it to roll. I've had it happen with my baits if I tried to use too thick of a split ring.

I have one and it works fine.  I like it better than the zman ones.
