Do some research on the Ned Rig. Spooks and spinnerbaits work well early, late, if it's overcast, or if it's choppy. Shakyheads and cranks work also but be prepared to deal with the headache known as the zebra mussel with anything that touches the bottom. The dam and anywhere on the lower end of the lake with rocks near the main lake should be holding smallmouth. The largemouth tend to stick to the pockets and northern end of the lake where there is a little more cover. Most of the spotted bass I've caught out there have been from around the marinas but the marina owners tend to feel like they own the water under the docks so be ready for that if you decide to go that route.

Thank you very much.

I see you've been getting some rain, how is the lake? Dirty, chocolate milk?

I have not been on the lake this year but from what I've heard it's stained, a little high, but little junk floating on the surface. Sounds like the fishing has still be pretty decent for bass and wipers.
