I'm assuming it's some kind of carp, but I'm not sure the exact species. It was so small and caught in Dundee, Michigan.This wasn't an invasive species, was it?

Idk what it is but it sure is ugly

River Chub

It is a horny head chub that looks to be in spawning coloration.  I have caught them with a pronounced head dome and little spikes all over it and bright purple before.  The first time I caught one i thought i had some mutant fish but after some research, it wasn't lol

Chub or a Fallfish, hard to tell at that size but it's one of those 2 and not invasive.
