has any body bass fish there before? How is the water clarity, any good area on the south side of the lake or north more, what was your successful lure used? Btw I will be on my kayak and doing a tournament fishing. I've never fish there before so I want to know some pointers before I go basically.

You have your tournament yet? Im new to the area this year but Ive had excellent(3-5 keepers in a 4 hr day) luck catching smallies by finding cover near the steep dropoffs created by the original path of the river. mostly use tubes, a ned rig or T rigged craw or worm, best colors ive found are watermelon red flake or black and blue, as for Largemouth? dont ask because I have had 0 success catching any all year. Im going to assume that you guys were probably the group of like ten kayaks that were launching last Saturday though so I hope you had good luck.
