No Luck Contacting "boat Board" Trailer Step Company

Featured Replies

All, I have a Tracker 175TF and have been looking for a trailer tongue step system since I go fishing alone quite often. Having a step up there would make launching and trailering much easier/safer.

I looked at several different steps/step systems and the "Boat Board" seemed to be the best fit for my application, but I can't get them to respond to my emails. I've emailed them 3 times in the last few weeks without a response. Does anyone know if they are still in business or another way to contact them? I'm close to saying "forget about it" and buy another step, but their's is pretty much what I'm looking for. Email is the only way listed to contact them on thier web site.

-Thanks...Tight Lines!

I found a bolt on step at Cabelas a few years ago, and I cobbled together a post to lean on  using 2" plastic pipe and fittings I found at Ace Hardware.   Works for me.

I was in Cabela's a few days ago and all they had was a platform similar to what Lund Explorer linked to above.

I've found a few other step manufactures that make nice sets ups (a few are unnecessarily complicated, in my opinion), but I really want to have the Boat Board folks reply to my emails

i would say if it is this much of an issue i would look for another company to give your business to or call them.

I'm pretty much at that point. Email is the only way to contact them...no phone # on thier web site

Have you tried Facebook? They're on there but it doesn't look like they've been active for awhile. Sounds like you've got your heart set on their system so it might be worth the pretty minimal effort to figure out who the website registrant is and contact them. That's not necessarily the person that owns the company but they could prob tell you what the status of the company is.

I don't have a Facebook acct. I'll give them another few days and if they don't respond, I'll look elsware.

Thanks to all for the replies

Never got a response from the Boat Board folks. I'm thinking they aren't in business any more.

After more research, I'm thinking about going with these guys:

Anyone have any experience with the product? I emailed them and they responded very quickly with answers to my questions.

Hey Hook Wet,

Have you decided on a trailer step yet? I like you am waiting on a reply from boat-board. I'm looking at the dtsinnovations also. Let me know what you decided on and how you like it.

Thanks,

Have you looked at this company? The many folks over at walleye central speak very highly of them.

Dwight, I did look at these and they appear to be top notch. However, so does the price. I'm on a fixed income so I have to balance function, reliability and price. The easy step is out of my price range unfortunately.

I'm going to keep poking around, like hook wet, and see what I can find.
