I Knew This Day Would Come

Well today was my first experience with walleyes... They act pretty paralyzed when you get them in the boat, but when they thrash it is no joke.......Got the hook out, put it back on the shadrap, and continued catching. Needless to say I will be a little more cautious with trebles from now on.

Ouch!!! Glad you didn't have to go to the ER!

If you cradle a walleye by the belly they almost never thrash around. Another good advertisement for a set of fish grippers. At least it doesn't look like it went in too far or in a bad spot other than being sensitive.
