That's it I love my tatula rod but I think I.May get one cause if it's offering same performance at 50 dollars cheaper man I'll be a happy camper

How big of a performance change would it make

Different blanks, different guides, different reel seat, it's basically a completely different rod.  The regular Tatula rods are really nice for the price, I'm sure these are too and I'm sure the actions and powers are similar, but other than that, they are completely different.

The XT says "HVF carbon construction" and the Tat is "SVF (super high volume fiber) graphite technology."  I assume the reg Tatula is a higher modulus blank.  SVF is used in some of the Steez and Zillion rods.

Ok now I see. Hopefully Daiwa is right about same performance. I'm really loving there newer line up with the re design aird and hopefully this tatula xt will be great at it's price range. I love my tatula rod

I thought the Lexa rods were really nice and the Tatula rods are great, I'm sure the XT is a great rod too.

How was the sensitivity on.the lead rod cause it looks like this will be taking it's place

I don't have one but a guy I fish with has a couple.  They are well built and feel crisp.  He really likes the 2 he has and definitely catches fish with them.

Considering daiwa uses very similar blanks for all their rods, you are paying for the tatula name not the tatula quality

Nice I'm in market for a new jig rod so sensitivity is going to play a major role

So if the blank is the same blank I'm sure it will perform just about the same if I'm thinking correct

ehh... no its not. The XT has a HVF blank while the regular Tatula has a SVF blank with Zero G. Also, Alconite guides are a pretty big jump over AO guides. It will certainly be noticeable, but don't sweat it if you can't afford the Alconite guides. They just make a lot less noise than the AO guides

I have a Lexa 7'2" ML/ F spinning rod and it's an awesome rod. Found it on sale for $50 and it's one of the best deals I've gotten.

That Daiwa DX-Bass Rod that is a TW exclusive sounds pretty similar as well.  The only difference is it has full cork grips and an ECS reel seat.  They are $139-$149.

Paying for a 'tatula' but not even getting the components that set tatula apart. At the sub 150 price point all the blanks are very similar in terms of sensitivity, which is why it's important to get one with good guides, handles etc...you don't get that with the xt.
