I've been seeking a replacement for the tiny red spool tension knob that comes with this reel, it's hard to turn and too small. I've looked on hedgehog studio for a replacement but the knobs they have won't fit due to the zaion drag star on this reel. Does anyone know where I might be able to find a replacement?

Sorry...I'm a little confused.  My Tatula Type R 'cast control' knob is gold and is opposite the drag star --- and I can imagine it being too small for some.  My spool tensioner is red...and next to drag star, but isn't so small compared to my other reels.

Spool tension knob is referred to as the cast control knob by a lot of people. It's the same thing.

You're talking about the magnetic brake dial.

That's on the palm side plate. Magforce Z cast control its talking about the braking system

The hedgehog studios knob will fit. Not sure where you saw it wouldnt. Looks 10x better as well

The oem style replacement will. The one with the cut outs will not. It's too tall and hits the drag star. The Slp works one will fit and also makes it click. It's like $45 though. Not worth it to me.

This one says it won't. I had the oem style on mine.

I wonder what the difference is between the drag stars? The look identical in size and shape.

Sounds like the R drag star is more offset.

Hedgehog did have one that was basically just an anodized stock tension knob. I don't see it on their site any longer. Doesn't help you much since you say it's too small. Looked like this.

Dang that purple looks sweet. I'm wondering if the Zillion TWS cap might fit??

Yeah mine has the same problem I just got used to it.
