Anyone ever try it? It is a bit expensive for grease. I'm just curious about it.

nope, all I've ever used is ardent. Maybe that mo grease is what smooths out the gears, because any time I clean and relube one of my reels, I start feeling the gears meshing. Not necessarily a bad thing, I guess, but I do miss how smooth my lexa spinning reel used to be. Might have to look into it.

I can tell you for certain that there is no magic when it comes to lubricants. The key is to use quality products in the appropriate application applied to clean parts. There is no forever lube or any that "molecularly bond " to surfaces beyond what any others do. Super Lube, marine grease or drag grease all work fine on reel gears.

I love Mo Grease. I have used it for years with nothing bad to say about it. I started using this grease when I lived in Japan back in 2002 - 2006. I can't say it's the best or even better than any quality lube, but I believe in it and it's held up in very extreme and salty conditions. From the cheap Shimanos and Daiwas, to their top of the line reels - Stella and Saltiga. 

I completely agree with DVT. Its the same with gun lubes. Everyone wants the magic lube but there is no such thing. Lube will do its job as intended if applied to the correct lube is applied to the correct places. Also don't apply a bunch, less is more. The more you add the more dirt sticks to it and and more you have to clean it for it to operate properly.
