Current spinning setup is 20lb. brain + 8lb. FC leader on one spool (2nd spool is currently empty) . I'm concerned when throwing a weightless soft stick bait wacky rigged I'm going to have issues with bow in the line with braid  (a breeze will only compound the issue I believe) . * What is your favorite FC or Co-Poly line and size to throw on a spinning setup for weightless soft stick baits  wacky rigged ?  ... My short list would include straight InvizX 8lb. FC but am open to suggestions which allow good feel and don't create excessive bow in the line (a negative for fishing weightless soft stick baits wacky rigged !)

8lb Sniper or Invisx

I've used 8 lb Seaguar Invisx and 6 lb Yo-Zuri Hybrid Clear. Both do well in clear/Lightly stained water.

Invizx is ~$20 for 200 yards. Yo-Zuri is $15 for 600 yards.

7# sunline sniper

I use 8lb Excalibur Silver thread copolymer line for 1/8oz to 1/4oz spinnerbaits. For my c-rig wacky rig senkos it's 14lb test Excalibur Silver thread line copolymer. The heavier line slows the rate of fall for a longer presentation on the drop.

Depends on how big the spool is. If it's a 1000/1500 size spool don't even bother imo. 7 or 8 pound Sunline Sniper would be my choice. Invivx has to much stretch for my tastes, and Sniper will handle well enough as long as you pay attention while using it. I've heard Tatsu is great, but too much money for something I'm bound to blow up at some point.

Spinning reel is a Quantum 3000 series .

I'd stick with the braid/leader set up.  You have issues with the braided line bowing in the wind when you keep your rod tip up.  Not as much with the rod tip down and the line in/on the water as much as possible.  That's my approach anyway.

I use either 20# Power Pro to a 8# Seagur Invizix leader or 6# Silver Thread AN40 Copolymer tied directly to the hook.

I had 8-lb. InvisX on my spinning rig for Senkos.  I fish braid w/FC leaders on all my other rigs.  It worked very well, but I just couldn't come to grips with the stretch of light mono (which I've used all my freshwater fishing life) after using braid so much, so I bought a nice finesse bait casting rig for Senkos and went back to braid and a fluoro leader.  :-)

Fishes in Trees : Great advice - I researched this topic of which line to use with wacky rigged soft plastic stick baits further and came across two articles by Bret Ehrler and Randy Howell : Both use a hi - viz braid + FC leader set up for wacky rigged soft plastic stick baits and gave their reasons why (line watching and reel set hook set) . The more I researched , the more mentions of braid to FC leader set up specific to wacky rigged soft plastic stick baits . It's not to say that co-poly and FC won't work with this technique but may be better served with other techniques such as :  drop shot , c-rig , split / slip shot , etc. where I still prefer co-poly or FC vs.  braid .

Tatsu is great. I am not sure how often you change line but I have been fishing the same line the whole year and it still dosent strike me as needing changed yet and it is used more then anything. I have done plenty of changing out on other reels but not any Tatsu. I have had a couple little minor backlashes but nothing ever serious and it's still indestructible and I have never had a issue. It just lays so well and casts amazing. Anything else's would probably be a nightmare by now and backlash city from abuse. I even kinked it up really bad close to the end and fished it to see what might happen and it never broke. I only some 2-3# ers but I started rocking hook sets after a while and it still kept going. You really could do 3 reels with a spool unless you plan on cutting huge tag end off it all the time.
