Dock Rocker Jig Now Available

Featured Replies

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.

We have just released the Dock Rocker jig.  There are 3 versions available.  The Grid Iron Dock Rocker is built with an Owner XXX strong jig hook, the Dredge Dock Rocker with the Owner Deep Throat hook and the Dock Rocker with a Mustad Ultra Point hook.

I have also changed the Grid Iron Package to 5 jigs similar to the Dredge Pack.  Colors are Blue Bug, June Bug, Bama Craw, Okeechobee, PBJ.

Some info on them:

The Dock Rocker is an excellant all around jig. This is a great jig to fish in just about any condition.  From light weeds, to rock, to heavy brush its a great all around fish catching machine.  Where the Dock Rocker really shines is it skips easily under docks or trees.

The paint is a powder coat that is heat cured for an extremely durable finish. The weedgaurd has fewer strands then our arky heads for a more finesse or lighter approach.  The skirt is made from approximately 55 strands which you can choose if you want it wire tied for long lasting durability, banded for easy changeability, or rattle banded for extra noise for those murky water conditions.

Thank you

I probably change out my arkies for these.

Do these offer any advantages over arky jigs?

Mike, would you say it skips better, worse or same as the arky head?  I'm ordering some either way, but wondering if I need to add some arky's to my order for skipping or if i should just go with these.  They look great.

From my findings it skips just as well as an Arky.

Thanks Mike, i like the sounds of that!  As soon as someone buys my lure lot i have up for sale, the funds are going towards some Dockrockers and some sway jigs....

I was able to skip mine pretty well even on my flip rod, and I'm no expert bait skipper to begin with. I'm used to using a spinning rod a foot shorter and even stiffer for that.

Would there be an option for white? An all white jig is killer in Texas during warmer months and flipping jigs are hard to find in white.

Hey dcmclassic, There sure is.  You can choose a white head with a white black flake skirt.

Just placed my order Mike, looking forward to giving these jigs a go!

Also threw some sway jigs in there to see how they compare to the Owner swing jig heads i've been using (the owners are just too expensive!)

Mine will be here tomorrow along with a few other goodies! :)
