Hey guys its getting close to winter time to break out the finesse gear. Im thinking about getting a Denali Jadewood J2 rod. Do you guys have any subjections on any other rods that are light, sensitive, and are in the $100 price range.

I have the older gen ***, and I imagine the new one is just as good.

Dobyns Fury or ***are both good $100 rods. The Daiwa Tatula is another one to take into consideration.

Furys are pretty good. I personally love my Fenwick EliteTech, it was about $80 on sale. 

If I could take a Phenix Maxim blank and guides and put the reel seat and handle from a ***with it, it would be the perfect 100 dollar rod imo. Another option is the Major Craft NanoAce.

I haven't used any of the rods mentioned but I picked up a Fenwick HMG on sale. I like it so far. That's another option around that price.

Yeah, I'm really curious about those nanoace rods. Probably comparable to a tatula for a little less, maybe a little heavier. There are two tatula spinning reels that are really light, xf action rods built just for dropshotting. One is 6'3" the other is 6'11". They are probably your best bet, but you won't likely find either shipped for $100.
