Y'all know I am a Loomis guy. Well, today I was at Field and Stream and picked up a St Croix tournament legend rod. Had to put it down and get out of there. WOW....those rods are nice!

With the new model Elite out, I was waiting for those to show up in the Bargain store. BUT, I was hoping for 50% off instead of 30%. Still, a great price on a great rod.

That's not a bad price at all. If not for the SK2 ( i think) reel seat and split grip I may have considered buying one. I just bout a E6X and I'm having a rod built so I'm set for a while.
