Has Anyone Used A Trailer Valet?

Featured Replies

Hey guys/gals,

My Nitro barely fits in my garage and it's a pain to get it in at that perfect angle.  I did a little research and came across this little gem called a Trailer Valet.  I haven't seen too many reviews outside of their website and I wanted to see if any of you have experience using one.

Before I spend $350, I want to make sure it's worth it.  Are there any other brands that are worth shopping against it?

I can't comment on that, but this costs less than half that amount and I use it to get the boat and trailer into my storage space.

Any of those will probably work fine if you have a single axle trailer.  A dual axle trailer is a whole 'nother animal.  The first one looks like it is self propelled which is a necessity.

A single axle trailer will pivot easily.  Any turn with a dual axle scrubs the tires.  The sharper you try to turn it, the more resistance you create.  I could turn my Z-7 with hardly any effort.  My Z-8 dual axle will budge until the tires reach maximum sidewall flex.  After that, you are trying to move the tires sideways.  Even with the leverage of the tongue, I cannot make the tires' contact patches drag sideways which is required for sharp turns.

I only use one when I take my boat to upper-crust restaurants and hotels.
