i see a bunch of crank bait makers on here but was wonder if anyone pours. i have been pouring for about 4 years and no longer buy store baits. i have been trying to get zbass to show me some paintin tricks on cranks. oh well new to the site and really just wanted to say hi.  :) ;D ;)

daveh, is that you? Welcome to BR. There are a few pourers here. As far as the painting tricks, I ain't got no tricks. lol I'll tell ya what ever you want to know. Just like pourin, I don't have any secrets. Great to see ya here, if that's you.

I make jigs, plastics, spinnerbaits, spoons, etc.  I only do it for myself and a few friends.  Brush hogs and slider grubs are the only plastics that I don't make myself but plan to make molds one of these days when my supplies get low.

I am another fellow pourer!  Let's see some baits!

i will post some. baits . i pour all baits i fish with and have not bougt a store bought bait in 3 years. if i do buy baits its from other hand pourers.

Dave does make some really nice plastics and the fish like them also.   There are a few world class painters on here and they like to share info.

Read and hung around the bait maken sites since October "09", and Got my first kit in December, Just ordered my second phase of things to widen my options today.

Its as addicting as making rods IMHO :)

your right it is addicting. before i started pouring i was going to start making cranks. but now i am mold pour and buy my custom crankbaits from the pros. man come on spring. :)
