Since it was so nice out i went to a local pond today and do some fishing. The pond is filled with downed trees and dead standing trees so i only throw topwaters and t rigged plastics. I tied on a pop-r and didnt use any other baits! Tons of action i was getting hits almost every other cast. First taker was a little warmouth then a bunch of crappies and one bass. Not to bad for december!

Largemouth were doing strange things today. I caught a bunch sight fishing, which shouldn't happen this time of year.

Haha maybe i usually have a hard time catching anything in december except for fall fish lol

My day began with dense fog. Had the lake to myself though. Kinda spooky til it burnt off. Only caught two, a nice spot on a lipless crank and this 2 pound LM on a worm. Christmas is upon us but it sure does'nt seem like it.

Fish were super active for me too, but not enough to bite a topwater lol. I caught about 20 bass fishing a jerkbait extremely fast

Great day for this late in the year - congrats.

Ijust got a new Megabass Giant Dog-X top water and two days ago we had the start of a warm from and I caught 17" lmb pretty quick. Most of our pond bass are in 10-13" randge so this was nice to see.

I went to the pond yesterday, caught one on a berkley nightcralwer on a shakeyhead, got severel tugs on 3/8 football head PBJ with christie craw trailer. 

I caught some nice jig fish yesterday. Can't put those things down, they produce year round for me.
