I use Invizx as my FC leader on all my finesse rods, I probably go through about 3 spools a year (Probably not all leaders). It is a good idea to buy a 1000yd spool? 

 

I figure it'd last me 2 years at least. 

If you keep your line in your home and out of the sunlight the bulk line should be fine for a few years.

Just remember to check for knicks, cuts and scrapes and retie your hook every two or three fish.

I buy my Sniper 12 and 14lb in bulk, because a majority of my rods get spooled with it. I save money and according to my fiance, it takes up less space as well. 

It should be fine to buy it in bulk. Sitting on the spool isn't hurting it.
