Does anyone know this blank? Does it cast 1/4oz spinerbaits/buzzbaits well?

What MHX blank could I use for this application?

    Pick through the listings for the MHX blanks find the lure ratings you like to use and build on that blank.

    Don't try to match the MHX blank to any SC blank there are no comparisons in my opinion....

    Why do you say there are no comparisons? Are the SC so much better?

    Do you have any experience with the 3C66MLF? Is it good for the application intended?

    IMPO they are. But it is hard to make comparison's from blank to blank especially bare blanks. The addition of components will change the comparison's quickly... ;)

    In my 15 yrs building (exclusively on St Croix & Shikari) I have built a couple on that blank...
    Is it good for the application intended?
    Might be a little stiff.. The lure rating for that blank is: 3/16oz. - 1/2oz....

    IMPO in St. Croix casting blanks, to get the lure range you are looking for I would go with a SC369MLXF

    1/8oz. - 1/2oz. ......great blank!

    Otherwise go with a 3C66MLF in a spinning blank, different taper....

    1/8oz. - 3/8oz.
