Hi all,

Today I went to fish the canal on Flamingo adjacent to CB Smith Park. It was windy again but a sunny day. Temperature was about 80, not sure about the water temp. Fished from 12:30pm to about 4:30 pm with no bass bites. The only thing I caught was a cichild. The baits I used was the shadow rap and a chatter bait. 

 

 

Keep at it. We have plenty of MC's around. They are fun to catch, especially on lighter outfits. 

Bank fishing has been slow down here lately.

I thought its been just me, but bank fishing in the stretch of canal I fish at has been very slow for months!! 

There has been good bass fishing overall this whole year,you just have to experiment with lure presentations and find out what they want.
