  1. Dade also, so many canals down here i can't fish them all
  2. I use shiners mostly. crank baits and spoons otherwise
  3. Went back to the C-2 canal last Sunday and had some more success. Much warmer in the 70s. Not as big as last week tho.
  4. A bad day fishing is better than any great day at work or school. Keep the stories coming, good stuff.
  5. Have seen people numerous times fishing and not releasing over 10 largemouths and smaller fish(not sure their names but i know they are what the bass eat). I have asked them for their fishing license, informed them of the rules, asked them to release the fish, and even called the cops before (but they were of no help). It's a jungle out there in Hialeah.
  6. Now that is what I call a comprehensive fishing report. Thanks for the update. Any pics to share?
  7. Amelia Earhart Park is my 2nd home. Next time you head out there give me a shout! Fishing is tough there because it receives a lot of fishing pressure, but their are nice sized largemouth in the large lake.
  8. Hey now, 50 is cold for down here. Was one of the coldest days we have had all winter down here.
  9. Fished the C-2 canal Sunday 1/24 from 10am-2pm. It was cold, about 50 degrees but warmed up as the day went by. Managed to catch 5 peacock bass, no large mouths.
  10. Saw this buddy earlier today while fishing. My rule, give them their space and do not bother them. Don't forget about cottonmouths also, especially with all the tall grass.
  11. Nice catch. Do they have teeth? Never caught 1 before, only bowfin which i thought was a snakehead at first.
  12. Good Luck, keep us posted on how you do.
  13. Texas rigged worms, and shiners
