Crankbaits 1/3/16

Featured Replies

I had a few hours to hit up a pond today and I threw a small swimbait and a squarebill crank. Normally this small swimbait hooks them good but I lost a big one when it came to the surface and came unglued. My buddy was catching numbers on a squarebill so I switched to a RC2.0  and caught a couple 3lbers. Then a tiny crappie decided to get in on the action.

Good way to spend a Sunday! Nice fish, and tight lines!

nicely done, really nice looking pond you've got there!

That little Crappie was HUNGRY!

Hahah gotta love feisty little crappie. I was fishing out of a canoe with my buddy, and he dropped his rod and reel overboard. We were trying to dredge the rod up with big heavily weighted plain hooks. I felt my rod tip start going nuts, so I reeled up and wouldn't you know it a crappie decided he was going to eat my bare red 3/0 hook hahaha.
