Hair Jigs
I've fished regular jigs, but I've never fished hair jigs. Everyone says they shine in cold water, is that their only use? OR could you fish it when the fishing is slow or if you're around smaller fish?

Never Throw Jerkbaits in Muddy Water
Yesterday I went out to a pond that recently had quite a bit of rain and water visibility was around 6 inches. I threw a small Rapala Xrap #6 and whacked the bass and panfish for hours. Also as the day came to a close it got cloudy and the wind started picking up so I pulled out a white buzz bait and caught this beautiful pre spawn female!

New to swimbaits!
A very good swimbait for me (that I've recommended many times) is a Berkley Ripple Shad. Get the medium size one I believe it is 4 inches. Rig it on a jighead or a very light swimbait hook. Hold on because fish will absolutely destroy that thing. Hope this helps you catch a few more fish! -Payton

A killer finesse swimbait for me is the Berkley "Ripple Shad" on a jighead. Fish tear this thing up, what is your favorite? -Payton

First Nice one of 2016
I was out fishing by myself, temp was around 70 degrees with blue skies. I was throwing a Rick Clunn series 2 squarebill in a craw pattern. Cranked it by some wood and this girl hammered it. (P.s. I hate putting fish on the ground pains me to see it but I wanted a length measurement and I was by myself, placed her down very carefully and took the picture as quick as possible.) -Payton
