first trip out going for bass in 2016. with unusually high temps for this time of year the water was 48-50 degrees throughout most of the lake.. ending up catching 6 which i am very pleased with due to the high winds. wasnt able to fish most of the main lakes without being pushed to hard. caught 3 on a jig. 1 on a jerkbait. 1 on a shakey head off a small point. and 1 on bandit 200. winds were averaging 20 mph for the hours i fished with gusts up to 30. 

did end up finding what appeared to be a road bed or hump not really sure though (a buddy said he thought there was a road bed out there but it didnt really look like one to me.. will take pic next time) going from 20 feet quickly up to 10 with a small flat at 10 before going back out to 20. there was fish holding on it but due to the highwinds was unable to hold my position long enouh to fish it as well as i would have liked. will be going back out this weekend and the winds should be down. hope to catch a couple off of it.
