STUPID MISTAKE

Featured Replies

I was relining my reel and my 5 month old skeet reese series rod got caught in the fan  :'(. It broke the very tip section off 1/2 an inch above the next guide. I really need to know what size fuji tip-top guide to use so I can repair it. I give out the most sincere thanks to anyone who tries to help me. Some other information about the rod is that it is a 7'2 senko rod. 8-20lb rating with 10 guides + tip. I appreciate your help.

That is truly a bummer...

Here is a link to an article on how to measure & replace the tip....

Good Luck & Tight Lines!!!!

Don't throw the broken portion of the tip away!!!!! ;)

How much of it was broken off?  If you still have the broken section let me know.  I can get you some info on how to fix it.

if more than a couple of inches broke off it will effect the power and action of the rod.

it can be fixed by doing an over sleave, or an insert (depends on diameter of area broken)

or check out    http://www.tackleworks.org/

see if some local can repair it for you.
