Anyone using the brush jig mold?

Featured Replies

I seen these molds on the internet the other day and they look like an awesome flipping head.  I like the recessed line tie and they look like they have a flat head so they'll stand up on bottom.  If anyone uses these heads give me some feedback on em.

The mold pours very well. I've poured over 500 of these and no problems as far as good clean pours. The only thing I can say negative about it is the 1/4 oz size. To me it is a little top heavy, and has a tendency to fall over, but that is my opinion.

Check out this post: "jig with eye as part of the jig head" in this forum. I'm not sure if this is what your referring to.

Sorry about this. I must have suffered from vapor lock when I posted this. I do know the mold your are referring to.

Again, my apologies.

I have poured thousands of them, they pour good with little to no rejects. My biggest complaint is the larger sizes are hard to free up from the mold. Especially the 3/4 mine hangs up something fierce and doesn't wanna come out

Yeah I don't like the mess that makes, I would rather not have my hands black and turning everything else in the shop black. I am gonna try that mold release stuff CadMan was talking about on a other site though.

See new thread titled "Mold Release Spray", I don't want to hijack this.
