creature/lizard bait pourers

Featured Replies

How are you fine trimming your baits after casting? I am taking a razo to them...but it looks like poo.

I have to agree with you on that one.  I finally gave up and went to hand injected baits.  Just pop them out and they are good to go.

If they are for your personal use, I doubt the fish will take the time to critique it ;)

Esp not in dingy water....

Buy these are also for others.

Injection is the way to go for thin appendages and no trimming. That being said, the more you pour the less overrun you will have. What I use is a small pair of sewing scissors to trim baits. You can also try to use your fingernail or a spoon to "press" the excess off. What I mean by that is to push down on the excess at the edge of the mold. This won't work with pop or rtv molds. Also you may try pouring the thin parts first and let it run or get pulled into the main body. Hope that makes sense.

I use the trimming scissors from LureCraft.  They are the best that I have found.
