I like to drop shot along the "mile roads"!

I cross the bridge to Canada and target grass beds for big smallies with tubes then do a little trolling for muskys.

I like the bays in the north-the dumping grounds- metro beach area- out deep near shipping channel- docks.   I throw everything though, cranks, jigs with trailer, wacky, shaky, live bait are my favorites.  Bass, walleye, pike, pumpkinseed, perch.   Still would like to try sturgeon or musky.   

I'll throw a perch jerkbait or pumpkin tube near Metro or the mile roads usually. I'm going to try and explore more water this year, focusing on Anchor Bay/Selfridge. I picked up a perch hudd 68 in hopes of landing a monster smallie. 

I'm making the trip with the wife in May,  we're staying in Fairhaven(?)  Northern bay area,  Any tips to help put the miss on some big smallies?
