One of my goals for fishing this year was to try some new spots. So I fished one today around 6  miles from the house from 3-6 o'clock.Caught 9 missed several. All the fish were caught relating to lily pads.Caught 6 in the last 30-40 minutes. Most were caught on yamasenkos 5 inch but I cut them down to 4.Biggest was 3.5.Fairly pleased for the first time out on this lake.

No we've got no Largemouth Bass unfortunately, I have to come to Florida to catch them. We have a Bass, but it's a saltwater fish.

Around Orlando.

Lale Toho and the Butler Chain.

Also a couple of free lakes on Disney resorts.

I've never fished those.I have fished a lot of lakes mostly N of Ocala since I live in the jacksonville area. There are numerous lakes app.1 hour s and w of jax.But there's plenty of good fishing in jax too.And saltwater great here too.

I heard that!My next trip I plan to go to a spot only 2-3 miles away.I have fished there before a few times without a big fish but I'm SURE there's some bass Up to possibly 14 pounds.I lost a big fish in there twice a few years ago.
