have any of you had luck with these ? i got me a pack of the Sweet Potato Pie tiki snakes, to try and fished flooded weedbeds on the Tennessee R. and did well....any others ?

Actually I had always heard of fishing these on top, but I thought they were more of a bait to catch anglers than fish.  I considered them the modern day helicopter bait... shows what I know.

I used to use them alot and they catch fish. T-rigged with a 1/8oz. weight.

I've fished them weightless quite a few times and have had alot of blow ups. I think the reason I didn't land many fish was I pulled too early on them.
