I'm looking at getting a champion or an extreme for small jigs and plastics. I currently have a DX745, and I'd like something much lighter. Maybe down to the DX742c or the D763c? Anyone got a rod similar to this?

    i don't have that length you're talking about, but i have a champion 682c and love it for 1/4oz jigs or 1/8 T rigs, fished a 1/8oz shakyhead on it last weekend and worked like a charm.
