Careless Mistake

Featured Replies

I was in the shop getting ready to paint some cranks this evening, picked up the airbrush to reassemble it only for it to slip out of my hands and hit the floor. Bent the back inwards and the front tip closed up as well.

Going to order a new Iwata HP-BS to replace this one later tonight. Ya'll be careful with these things :-/

My airbrush is broke too except the non-working part is the finger that controls the spray.

man smashing tips sucks bad! been there done that... :-/

I did the same thing with mine a year or so ago. I sent it in to Iwata and they were able to repair it for $40 or so. Don't remember the exact amount, but something close to that amount. It was definitely a lot cheaper than a new brush. After they repaired it, it came back and sprays as good as new. I now place a foam pad under the brush when either tearing the brush apart or putting it back together.
