Hey guys I'm new here. I was just wondering if this boat I looked it the other day is worth $3500? I believe it's a 1987 Ranger, 150 hp  Mariner Magnum III.  There's a link  to dropbox with the photos. Thanks for any help.

I would say no, the carpet is trashed, no windshield (wait till you try to find one) my bet is the seats are not in good shape, no electronics I can see.  You are looking at spending some real money here to get it to good shape.  If the engine runs good I might give 2k for it knowing the work ahead and the cost of all the little stuff that never works on boats that look like this to start.

No I don't think it is. It's got a newer motor, probably mid to late 90's and newer seats (early 2000's) but that's about where it ends on the positives side. The gel coat is straight up shot, it looks like someone tried to bring it back but found out just how hard that is. You can tell it sat out. Even just by looking at how faded the tm is it just wasn't cared for. Also, it's older than an 87. I believe it's an 84 or older and I can't quite tell for sure on the HIN number, but it looks like it's an 82. It's too far gone to be worth that much.

If transom was ok i wouldnt go as far to say 3500 but maybe 2500 that is if motor checked out, carpet isnt a big deal or big expense if tou do it yourself
