Knot Tying

Featured Replies

I'm extremely bad at knot tying. I only know one knot that my father taught me which works in some scenarios but is not a good knot all around. It's basically a multiple repeated overhand knot. I want to learn how to tie the uni knot and I watch the tutorials and stuff but for some reason I still fail to be able to do it...

Any help appreciated

Double uni for connecting line to line other than braid.

Seaguar knot for connecting braid to non-braided line.

Clinch knot for line to lure.

Palomar knot for braid to lure.

Practice, practice, practice!!

I tried every knot on Gods green earth with limited success.  Finally bought the "Tie-Fast Knot Tyer."  Works great and ties a variety of knots.

I think i might grab one of these. My knot tyings not what it use to be since my last stroke :)

I've tried many different knots and settled on 3.

Arbor knot for trying to the spool, Alberto knot for braid to leader, San Diego Jam knot for line to lure.

I might tie a Palomar if I am tying braid direct to a lure.
