Ive got an extra dobyns extreme 795 medium/heavy and curious if anyone is throwing or thrown an carolina rig on this rod?  I know its a flipping stick but wasn't sure how it would do.

It's a pretty awesome punching rod.  wouldn't be my first choice for a C-rig rod but there's no reason it wouldn't work. 

I've never thrown the C-rig with mine, but I think the tip is soft enough to do it.

Ive been throwing C Rig a lot past year and change. I kinda know that Rod but just off the bat though that's a lot of Rod for the rig. 7' -7'6 range is where I'd go. Me personally it's a 7'3 mh/f. Nothing fancy. 

Well I've been looking at the 7'6" dobyns rod for c rigs but seen the specs weren't to far off of my 795.  The older champion extreme has a softer tip thats what i was gonna try.  Plan on getting the c rig rod before summer
