Dicks Sporting Goods Sale

Featured Replies

Hey everyone, someone on the forums posted a notice a few months back about a Sebille lipless cranks sale. I was able to utilize that sale to really grow my lipless collection into something formidable at a very reasonable price. Well, I was poking around the Dicks Sporting Goods website and saw that they have a  good sale going on, with lots of BOGO or lures for $2.00. Usually the Havoc lines are on sale for $2.00, in the spring and they are part of this sale again. However, while perusing the website and  not really finding any great deals I saw that the Yum Money Minnows were on sale for $2.00, down from their original price of $10.00. I couldn't pass this up as they work great on a keel weighted yum money minnow hook in my ultra clear waters in the N.E. These are a great find, as I can never find them on sale at all- never mind at this fire sale price. Plus, orders over $25 ship free. You can get a high quality and decent beginner swim bait selection for under $30.00.

So I apparently did not complete the sale last night. I went to finalize the sale today and now the hitch color is all sold out, so who on here is responsible?! Enjoy.

I literally just got back after clearing the racks at my local DSG. Got ten packs, but only 3 of them were the 5 inchers I wanted.  I might have my friend down the road go look at his store.  Thanks for the heads up!!

Thanks for the heads up. After reading this, I decided to head down to my local DSG after work. Grabbed a few of the money minnows.

And then I saw it... A GL2 853S JWR with a sale tag of $119! I wasn't particularly in the market for such a rod, but when the bait monkey whispers in your ear, you listen.

I just hit up dicks last week for the sale on trokar hooks and live target baits. I was going to try to not buy anything this week but the temptations is strong

Dicks always seems to have great clear out/ sales going on last spring I picked up 4 containers of gulp for 2.50 each ? Need to make a trip tomorrow!

Managed to pick up 5 bags of power bait for 15 bucks. After the 10 buck rebate it will run me 5 for 5, pretty sweet deal.

Good to see you did well. I actually took a drive to my local DSG and they didn't even have any sales going on. They had a few yum money minnows but at regular price and then some random Rapalas on sale for like a $1.00 off. They had some live target crawfish cranks in a bin, but they were still $11.00 bucks. Disappointed but was able to get a bunch of new swimbait hooks for those yum money minnows I got coming in.

One thing I've noticed with Dick's, at least here locally, is they aren't always very good at marking items that are on sale.  I will always get them to price check stuff if I think they should be on sale.

Good point. I've had things ring up as sale items before that weren't even priced as such on the rack. When I went the other day and bought the Money Minnows, they rang up at $9.99 - I showed them the online sale at the register and they had to call the manager over to approve it.
